Two advertised-price bands

Janome 550E · Dubai

5,499–6,959 in AED

Three public advertised prices, 2026-08-15. Not negotiated or business-verified.

Janome MB-7 · Dubai · local

15,225–18,220 in AED

Three advertised prices, 2026-08-19. Not negotiated or verified.

Context · Janome MB-7 · cross-border import

26,963 AED

One listing, 2026-08-19. Shipping and customs excluded. One source, so it stays context.

Correction, 2026-08-19: the MB-7 range previously shown as 15,225–26,963 mixed local sellers with one import listing and has been split.

Why this exists

MY PURCHASE ABOUT AED 19,000 ONE TIER UP ABOUT AED 14,000 GAP ≥ AED 5,000
The same Janome MB-7, discovered after the purchase.

These are my own purchase figures, separate from verified market data. This page has no verified market data yet.

I paid about AED 19,000 for a Janome MB-7, a seven-needle embroidery machine. The same machine was about AED 14,000 one tier up at the brand's own distributor. I found the gap of at least AED 5,000 afterward. Dealer-only sales and no public catalog price hid it before buying.

A hand-sewing-kit-sized spool of embroidery thread cost AED 150. Needle packs cost about AED 600. Thread took months. There were no returns. The seller could not repair what it sold.

What inverted means

Most marketplaces wait for registration. Here we find suppliers and compile public facts.

A listed business agreed to nothing. Each entry comes down on request.

What gets published, and what never does

PRIVATE MESSAGE RECORDS nobody consented to publication 1. A business with a public face? a private person's classified ad is not 2. Was the fact already public? a price quoted to us in a message is not 3. Do 3 or more suppliers agree? one quote is not a market range no no no NEVER PUBLISHED no names no numbers no chat lines no individuals no attributed prices A LISTING what they sell, where public contact only A MARKET RANGE category, low to high with its count stated 5 LISTINGS · 2 BANDS · 1 CONTEXT all use public advertised prices
Three gates. Failing any one of them means the detail is dropped, not softened.

Two of those gates are hard lines rather than judgement calls. A private individual selling a used item is never listed. A price quoted in a message is that supplier's own disclosure, so it is never published against their name, and no permission of ours can release it.

The four lines, written out
  • Businesses only. A shop with a public face can be listed. A person selling one used item never is, whatever they said.
  • Public fact, not private disclosure. That a business sells a material is listable. What they quoted in a message belongs to them.
  • Aggregate is the way depth survives. A range across several suppliers attributes nothing to any of them, and it carries its count.
  • Registered by us, and it says so. An entry states it was built from public information plus our own sourcing. It never implies the supplier joined.

How price bands are published

A band requires public advertised prices from at least three suppliers and states its count and date.

The listings contain no prices. Two bands and one cross-border import context appear above.

Not a shop, and how to say no

This publishes information. No fee, commission, or order passes through it.

Anyone who messaged us can use the address above to reject use of their messages or remove an entry. No reason is needed.
