The household floor

Every machine on this floor is one real scheduled job, drawn as the pipeline they form: the family's record flows in, one machine compiles it into a board, and the board leaves as pages, a thread and at most five interruptions on a person's desk. Lamp lit: dated success. Dark: never once. Crossed: refusing loudly. Tap anything labelled; a pedestal opens the surface it stands for.

What the line moved in its last 24h window: 130 cards appeared on the board, 134 cleared, 47 needed the human. Counts from the public snapshot of 2026-08-27.

What the belts claim, and what the lamps measure

The belts are this page's own claim about the wiring: the topology is declared in the generator that draws the scene, verified only as far as both ends of every belt existing on the floor. The lamps are measured: each machine is one row of the household job ledger, read live when the scene is drawn, and the generator refuses to draw a floor from a dead ledger. The watchdogs' dashed sightlines point at what they actually watch; stall watch's subjects, the dispatched agents, are off this floor, so its line runs to the horizon. Nearly every machine is named and says what it does: the filter that used to hide most names now keeps back only what could genuinely harm, and what it still holds is drawn, counted and said out loud on its own island.

scene drawn 2026-08-27 from a live read of the job ledger (42 entries: 37 with a dated success, 2 run never proven, 0 refusing, 2 never once succeeded, 0 ghosts; 41 named, 1 held back by the harm filter), the rank rail (established), and the public board snapshot of 2026-08-27 (3 of 5 waiting on a human). A snapshot, not a live feed.
